What is the difference between vegetable and animal proteins?

Soy protein
Soy proteins are vegetable proteins. Unlike most vegetable proteins that are "incomplete", soy protein is considered a "complete" protein of comparable quality to many animal sources. Whey or whey proteins are animal proteins derived from milk. They are called "complete" because they contain 8 amino acids essential to the body. The body absorbs them very quickly when consumed on an empty stomach. Whey protein is the most used by sportspeople and athletes because it helps build muscle and increases strength. Numerous studies show that consuming whey right after a workout can significantly increase muscle growth and recovery.
